Read to a Dog

dogbookBring a book and read to one of our registered Therapy Dogs of Vermont. All ages. Call 878-4918 to pre-register for individual 10 minute sessions. Thursday, February 21, 3:30-4:30pm.

Writing Series

cwEveryone has a story to tell, and people are hungry to hear them. It's what draws us together as people. This workshop will help those who attend build their stories and find an audience. Join us for one or all sessions. Presented by Dr. Steven Shepard, a professional author, photographer, audio producer, and educator. Please pre-register.

Thursday, February 21, 1 pm. Session Three: Tools of the Trade: Explore the software, hardware, and other tools that make writing easier, effective, and efficient.

Thursday, February 28, 1 pm. Session Four: Open Forum (Bring Your Questions). Work Review: At the mid-way point, this is an opportunity to bring and issue, challenge, opportunity, question, or discussion to the workshop for resolution.

Series will continue for a total of 8 weeks. There will be a new registration each month.

Drop-In LEGO Day

legosDrop by and make a LEGO creation using the library LEGO collection, or bring your own! Tuesday, February 26, 10:30 am- noon. No registration required. All ages. Children must be in 3rd grade and at least 8 years of age to be in the library without an adult.

Mah Jongg @ the Library!

mahjonggtilesHave you wanted to learn how to play, revisit the game or just love the game of Mah Jongg? We are offering bimonthly sessions of this tile-based game on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. Come alone or bring a friend and play with members of the community. All experience levels are welcome. Wednesday, February 27 from 1-3:30 pm.

Evening Movie: Ocean's 8

oceans82018 New Release. Sandra Bullock leads a heist caper that's clever enough to get by and sly enough to treat its female cast as a natural spin on the "Ocean's' brand." Snacks provided. Rated PG-12. 111 minutes. Wednesday, February 27, 6 pm.
