Mah Jongg @ the Library!
Have you wanted to learn how to play, revisit the game or just love the game of Mah Jongg? We are offering bimonthly sessions of this tile-based game on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. Come alone or bring a friend and play with members of the community. All experience levels are welcome. Wednesdaya, April 11 & 25 from 1-3:30 pm.
Technology Night: Facebook Photos
Ken Bernard of Vermont Tech will offer a new program on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. This month the focus will be how to manage Facebook photos. Bring your own device if you would like. Open to all ages. No registration required. Wednesday, April 11, 5:30-6:30 pm.
Homeschool Program: All About Birds!
Birds are much more than bills, beaks, and feathers. They are dancers, weavers, architects, athletes, and masters of disguise. Join elementary educator Kristen Littlefield for a wondrous journey into the lives of birds. Students will explore these fascinating creatures through litereature, art, interactive games and writing. Tax season have you stressed? What better way to release tension and let go of 2017 taxes than to practice yoga! This donation class will blend mindful breathing with alignment and body-awareness. Yoga blocks and straps will be available to support the asana (postures) practice, bring a mat. Come strengthen and gain flexibility while releasing tension. This class gives participants time to unwind and return to their natural center of balance. Practice adapted for all levels. Donations received will support flood recovery at the Library.
