Vermont's National Park That Got Away
Environmental historian Bruce S. Post's multimedia presentation, Three Poems and a Parkway, shows how Vermont almost became home to a major national park in the 1930s. Not once but twice, President Franklin D. Roosevelt proposed establishing the Green Mountain National Park. Post uses maps, photos, poems and videos to tell the story. Sunday, April 2, 2 pm.
