    Songs and Fingerplays:
    What Color Are You Wearing?
    If you're wearing red today, red today, red today;
    If you're wearing red today, please stand up!

    Repeat with different colors and actions (touch your elbow, turn around, stand on one foot...)

    Hickory Dickory Dock
    Hickory dickory dock, the mouse ran up the clock;
    The clock struck one [clap], the mouse ran down;
    Hickory dickory dock.

    Hickory dickory dock, the mouse ran up the clock;
    The clock struck two [clap 2x!], the mouse said "Boo!"
    Hickory dickory dock.

    Hickory dickory dock, the mouse ran up the clock;
    The clock struck three [clap 3x!], the mouse cried "Wheee!"
    Hickory dickory dock.

    Hickory dickory dock, the mouse ran up the clock;
    The clock struck four [clap 4x!], the mouse said "No more!"

    Songs & Activities:

    One Bright Scarf
    One bright scarf waiting for the wind to blow.
    Wiggle it high (reach to ceiling) and wiggle it low (down by your toes).
    Shake it fast and shake it slow.
    Where did it go? (Hide scarf in hands, behind back, etc.)
    One, two, three... release scarves into the air!

    Craft—Hungry Caterpillar Balloon Print Collages

    Kids dipped inflated balloons into paint to create the caterpillar's body.  They also had fun using hole punches to take "bites" out of all the different fruits their caterpillar ate.

    Flannel Board: Five Ripe Berries
    Five ripe berries sitting in a bowl.
    The blueberry fell out and it started to roll [make rolling motion with hands].
    It hit the table [slap your knee] and bumped my toe [tap your toe].
    Now how many berries are in the bowl?
    [Repeat with remaining berries.]
