The Consumer Reports database contains the complete text of all articles and product recalls in the 12 regular monthly issues of Consumer Reports magazine, the 12 monthly issues of two newsletters, Consumer Reports Travel Letter and Consumer Reports on Health. Published by the nonprofit Consumers Union, Consumer Reports is the preeminent product-test and consumer advisory publication, reaching more than five million subscribers. Consumers Union does not permit users of its material to use its name or work, including this database, in advertising or as an endorsement of any product or service or for any other commercial purpose.
Consumer Reports publishes results of tests on products ranging from major purchases such as automobiles and appliances to everyday items, such as foods and cleaning supplies. Test reports include brand-name ratings and Consumers Union's recommendations. Goods and services covered include: appliances, automobiles, electronics, foods, health, home, personal, travel and more.

Consumer Search is a free website that reviews consumer products in eight major categories. They do their best to be objective and precise and do not advertise products they review. Each review presents the four best products along with runners up and customer reviews.
