Student Assistant Wanted
Dorothy Alling Memorial Library is looking for a student assistant to join the team this summer. This position is responsible for supporting the care and upkeep of the collection, including shelving and the physical processing of materials; making promotional displays; supporting program setup; keeping periodical collection organized; assisting library patrons; helping opening and closing the library when on duty, and other duties as assigned.
Origami Cranes Community Art Installation
The cranes are flying! Stop by the Library front window and vestibule of the Library throughout May to see the amazing Origami cranes (orizuru) our community created on display. We are so thankful for all of our community members that participated in this project. A very uplifting sign of Spring.
Spanish Conversation Meet-up
StoryWalk® in the Park: The Magical Yet by Angela DiTerlizzi
May 3- 31. This encouraging book reminds us that we all have things we haven't learned...yet! Located at Williston Community Park, east of the soccer fields. The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
Book Clubs @DAML
